With a stunning design and brilliant vistas, Zaha Hadid Architects present the Messner Mountain Museum Corones.
Located in South Tyrol and embedded in the summit of Mount Kronplatz, the museum is the sixth and final dedicated to Reinhold Messner. Now open to the public, the museum explores not only Messner's career of mountain climbing, but the overarching discipline of the art, including a unique collection of photographs and items collected by the explorer. The design of the building allows visitors to descend the mountain's caverns and are reinforced with concrete. [via Hypebeast]
