Expression, freedom & art of the female body

In her latest project, Taiwanese artist Yung Cheng Lin tackles themes of women’s social standards/ expectations and body modification.

Empowered through her camera lens, Lin aka 3CM expresses viewpoints on the freedom of expression and unmitigated beauty of all female bodies through striking images of red string juxtaposed to  the human form. The compositions are instantly enthralling, evoking deeper meanings that, although subtle, argue against the absurdity of societal standards and efforts that many women endure to adhere to body and beauty ideals.
