Last month at Arcadia Gallery, Malcolm Liepke presented a new series, “All That We Might Become”, which focused on the psychology found in his art.
The figurative artist explored an emotive means of gesture and sensuality, creating a series of oil paintings that lended to deeper understandings of subjectivity, experience and vulnerability. Including pieces like "Tiny Dancer" and "Delicious Morsel", the suggestive nature of his subjects and brushstrokes become as important as diction to prose. [via Hifructose]
