Mixing stencil works with graffiti designs and abstract inclinations, Martin Watson is steadily growing from the canvas to the streets.
Drawing inspiration from José Parla and Cy Twombly, the Norwegian artist hones in a particular version of pop culture with works everywhere from Tokyo to London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.
"Martin has a continuous urge to search for beauty in what is commonly dismissed as ugly, out of style or simply left behind. He looks for inspirations in people, city landscapes, old buildings, graffiti, posters and decaying walls." [via MartinWhatson]
