"Life Wants to Live" is London-based artist Phil Hale new solo exhibition at Jonathan LeVine Gallery.
Hale’s first solo exhibition in four years, the show is a series of new works that explore concepts of fragmentation and reappropriation with an artist who struggles to construct meaning while being inundated with imagery and data.
"Hale accumulates distortions, compresses them into a stratum, then cracks them open again and layers other images and shapes until the significance, or the narrative of each layer, disappears into another."
